This year‘s Bowling Green Junior High Basketball tryouts were held October 10-12 in the BGJHS gym. The whole school was able to try it out.
Anyone will be able to find the schedule on the BGJHS website by going to the top right corner and clicking athletics, tickets will also be for purchase on the website.
Before tryouts, the girls made sure to stay ready to play and practiced every day except Sunday. Girls who made the BGJHS girl’s basketball team would be announced soon after tryouts. This year’s coaches are Avrey Driver, Jim Brown, Melanie Morrison, and Charles Edding.
“I feel good about tryouts, the coaches are fair to all skill levels,” said Kaite-Bliar White an 8th-grade basketball player. Katie- Blair also said she feels pretty confident in her team but also said her team needs help communicating on the court.
