SCK Launch

Eighth grade students attended the SCK launch on Wednesday, October 26. This event introduces middle school students to different careers and inspires students to pursue careers. The different rooms students visited were healthcare, professional service, public service, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, transportation, distribution, and logistics.
Reece Hood, 8th grader said, “This motivated me to see that you are able to have fun, even when you have a hard career.” Reece’s favorite part of the SCK lunch was the hand shocker, the hand shocker opens your muscles. He enjoyed going to the SCK launch and his favorite part of the launch was the hand shocker also. Reece and Daniel said that they both liked seeing different things they could pursue in the future.
Overall this event helps expose middle school students to be introduced to different careers.
