My favorite national soccer team is Portugal, and I want them to win the World Cup. I at least want them to be at the finals competing for the trophy.

Now that the World Cup has started, Portugal is an excellent team. Portugal is very good at holding the ball back at the defense line. They also strategize very well. They all are focused to be ready to play. The best player on the team is Cristiano Roanldo. He is a great player when he plays on the field.

In 2022, Fernando Santos was appointed as the new head coach for the national team. Two years later at Euro 2016, Santos led Portugal to its first major trophy, defeating hosts France in the final. Portugal won over Germany to qualify and make its only appearance in the FIFA Confederations Cup held in Russia, where they finished in third place. Portugal qualified for and hosted the brand new 2018–19 Nations League Finals where they triumphed, defeating the Netherlands and earning the second major tournament victory in three finals.

My favorite national soccer teams are Argentina and Brazil because they are a very competitive team. Brazil has won the most World Cups. They have won 5 World Cups.

Argentina has many great players on the team right now such as Leo Messi,Di Maria, and de paul. Those three are playing very well in the World Cup. Argentina has also won the Copa America 15 times, the highest amount, Argentina has won the World Cup 2 times. The World Cup is the only FIFA international competition yet to be won by Argentina. Argentina has been runners up three times: in 1930, 1990 and 2014. In 18 World Cup tournaments, Argentina had 48 victories in 84 matches. The team was present in all but four of the World Cups.
